Suwannee Banjo Camp Registration

Registration and Payment Information

You must register to attend Suwannee Banjo Camp. You may register online or by mail. We also ask you to fill in a questionnaire about your interests and playing background that will help us plan the coming Camp. Note that your SBC payment covers tuition and meals only; lodging must be reserved separately through Cerveny Conference Center (see below)

Lodging Must Now be Reserved Separately

In the past students paid for lodging when they signed up for tuition and meals. Beginning this year, you must reserve and pay for your lodging directly through our host, Cerveny Conference Center.

Here’s the procedure.

  • First register for camp.
  • We will send you an acknowledgement email, which will contain a Cerveny Lodging Link. Use this link to reserve and pay for your on-site lodging.
  • You have a choice of single and double occupancy guest rooms, RV sites, cabin bunks, or tent camping (see below for details).
  • You will also have the opportunity to specify roommates, ask for handicapped friendly rooms, etc.

Note: Guest rooms (motel quality) go quickly so be sure to register early if you wish to stay in a Guest Room.

Housing Registration FAQ:

  • Refunds. Housing reservations are fully refundable up to 72-hours prior to the start of Camp
  • Deposits. You may reserve a lodging unit at Camp with a deposit of 25%; it is also fully refundable until 72 hours prior to the start of Camp.
  • Roommates. The Cerveny payment platform allows you to specify a guest-room roommates, or ask to be assigned a double occupancy roommate.
  • Handicap-Accessible. You will have an opportunity to indicate special needs.

About the Registration Questions

We ask about your interests and playing background in questionnaire form as you register to help us design our program. Your responses do NOT commit you to take any particular class or pursue any particular level of instruction. You will also be asked to identify your future lodging preferences.

Payments

The Suwannee Banjo Camp payment platform accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card. You may register right up until the start of camp, depending on space. Until January 22, 2018 you may reserve a place at camp either by advance payment of full tuition, or by paying a deposit of $100. After midnight on January 22, 2018, all new registrations must be accompanied by payment of full tuition. All balances are also due on January 22, 2018.

Special Instructions for Paying Deposits and Balances Online

Paying a Tuition Deposit

If you wish to put down a $100 deposit to hold your place at camp, you just partially register at this time. During the deposit registration process, you will enter your name and email. You’ll also be asked to fill out a questionnaire, which allows you to provide us with information about your interests. When you select “Deposit Only” on the registration form, a charge for $100 will appear in your shopping cart. Once you finish the financial transaction, you will be issued a thank you email. Within a few days, you will receive a follow-up email from Suwannee Banjo Camp with deposit coupon code for $100 which you will apply when you complete a full registration (see below).

Note: All those who have registered with a deposit must submit the remainder of their tuition by January 22, 2018. Again, all new registrations made after that date must be accompanied by payment of full tuition.

Note:  When you place a tuition deposit, unless you plan to commute you must also reserve lodging through the Cerveny Lodging Link (you will have the option of either full or partial lodging payment).

Paying Your Tuition Balance

Once you have paid your tuition deposit and filled out your questionnaire, you are registered for Camp as far as we are concerned. To pay your balance on line, however, our sales platform requires the following procedure:

  • Click on the “Register Online” tab above, and at the bottom of that page, you’ll find our registration form. Then register for camp as if you are STARTING FROM SCRATCH, beginning with the tuition and meals package of your choice. You do NOT have to re-do the survey about your interests.
  • When the registration shows your total costs, you will have the opportunity to enter your $100 deposit coupon code, to deduct the $100 deposit you’ve already paid. You will enter your deposit coupon code at the very end of the checkout process. Look for a box just above the final total that says “Enter Coupon”; once your deposit code is entered, $100 will be credited toward your total.

Refunds

Here is our refund policy:

  • There is no penalty for cancellation until January 22, 2018.
  • January 22-March 7:  students who cancel after January 22 and before March 8 will have $100 deducted from their tuition or deposit refunds.
  • March 8-21. We must commit to a firm meals count by March 8 and have to pay for these meals whether a given registrant is there or not; students who cancel between March 8 and March 21 will therefore have $150 deducted from their refunds.
  • Students who cancel on or after March 22, 2017 (or who simply fail to appear at camp) will have $200 deducted from their tuition refund.

Online Registration

You may register online using the selections below. The registration form is at the bottom of this page:

PAYING IN FULL TODAY Select your tuition option. Select the spouse/companion option as well, if that applies. Select any other options that apply. Click the Register button. Complete the brief survey and checkout. Confirmation will be emailed to you.

PAYING A DEPOSIT ONLY If you are making a Deposit Only today, select that option alone. Do not select your tuition package at this time nor sign up your spouse/companion. In the Deposit Only questionnaire, you will be asked about your anticipated tuition package and if you intend to bring someone with you. You will be sent an email with a coupon code that you will use to apply your deposit to the full cost when you return to complete your registration and pay the balance.

RETURNING TO PAY BALANCE Upon returning to pay your balance, you RE-REGISTER — yes, that’s right, you will start the registration process again, FROM SCRATCH; then select your tuition, meals and lodging package. If you are paying for a spouse or companion, select their tuition and meals package as well. Click the Register button. When you continue to Checkout, apply your Deposit Coupon Code at the end of your order.

  • Again, go to the entry form below and register for camp as if you are STARTING FROM SCRATCH, beginning with the tuition and meals package of your choice. You do NOT have to re-do the survey about your interests.
  • When the registration app adds up the final amount, you will have the opportunity to enter your $100 deposit coupon code to deduct the $100 deposit you’ve already paid. You will enter your deposit coupon code at the very end of the checkout process.
